Congratulation
We congratulate Tobias Langenegger for successfully defending his doctoral thesis at the Chair of Negotiation and Conflict Management at ETH Zurich.
In his thesis entitled “A Simulation Model of Sanctions and Negotiations: The Example of the Iran Nuclear Dispute” he introduces a simulation model to analyze the development and dynamics of conflicts with a special emphasis on the change from escalation pathways to cooperated negotiated solutions. These mechanisms seen in the computational model were then further illustrated with the case of the Iran nuclear dispute and negotiations.
